About the Book: author Bill Powers’ award winning title, “The Pharm House” shares Dr. Nicholas Harding’s story involving the pharmaceutical industry with malpractice of epic proportions. This is a modern mystery and whodunit tightly corked in the prescription bottle of greed, murder and corruption and drug peddling. The protagonist, Nicholas Harding, is struggling to raise a young daughter as a single parent and stumbles across a global plot to take over the pharmaceutical company where he works. Mysterious deaths occur, including Nick’s mentor. Nick’s career, family and life are threatened. Nick is kind of like Alan Gregory in the Stephen White stories, just a guy trying to get through life and take of his family, but things (bad people) keep getting in the way.
